Ewa joined the practice in 2007, she qualified in 2009 and is the Head Nurse at our Ealing surgery. Her main interests are anaesthesia and laboratory work. She has a tabby and white cat called Stefan, and a hamster called Ruby. In her spare time, Ewa enjoys travelling with her family.
Sophie qualified in 2014 and enjoys all aspects of the job but has a particular interest in surgical nursing and anaesthesia.
Laura has recently qualified whilst working here at Young Vets. We are incredibly proud of our nurses particularly when they qualify through training with us here in the surgery. Laura has been with us for 4 years and has previously studied as an animal care assistant. In her spare time Laura loves to read.
We are very proud of our veterinary nurses, who work very hard often behind the scenes with your pets. Our veterinary nurses all have their own talents and help with all aspects of pet care including: Anaesthetics, dispensing medications, nursing sick animals, providing advise to owners, taking x-rays, giving injections, removing stitches, taking care of in patients, training other assistants, updating records the list is endless! All of our nurses regularly attend training to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest nursing techniques.
